On multiple occasions, I have observed the math teacher participating in or displaying advocacy related to transgender issues during school car line activities.

My concern is not about any individual's personal beliefs. Rather, I question whether a public school employee should be using a school-related setting and time, where students and families are a captive audience, to promote viewpoints on controversial social and political issues.

Parents come from a wide range of backgrounds and hold differing beliefs on these matters. Many of us expect school personnel, particularly in settings connected to their professional role, to maintain political and ideological neutrality and to focus on their educational responsibilities.

I would appreciate clarification regarding the school's policies governing employee advocacy or political expression during school functions and whether the activities I observed are consistent with those policies.

What is a Character Attack?

A character attack occurs when someone attacks a person or group instead of the validity of their statements or behavior.
